Liliana Böcker’s passion for fashion is deeply rooted in her family’s artistic heritage. Coming from a lineage of renowned painters, including her maternal grandfather, Jorge González Camarena, a celebrated Mexican artist, and her great-great-aunt, Berthe Morisot, a prominent
figure of the French Impressionist movement, creativity has been an integral part of her life since childhood. Destined for an artistic career, Liliana always knew her path lay in the world of fashion. From an early age, she dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and establishing her own fashion house.
In 1995, she earned a scholarship to study textile design, with a focus on fashion, at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. After graduating in 2000, Liliana began her career as a costume designer at Televisa, where she sharpened her skills in styling actors based on their colors, silhouettes, and personalities. Shortly after, she pursued her entrepreneurial dream by opening her first fashion workshop in 2004 in Mexico City. Despite early challenges, Liliana’s persistence and creativity allowed her to carve out a niche for herself in the industry. Her talent and determination eventually earned her a spot in the Endeavor Mexico incubation program and a coveted opportunity to participate at Milan Fashion Week 2017.
In 2023, Liliana made a bold move, expanding her brand’s horizons by relocating to Bali. Maintaining her workshop in Mexico while establishing a new one in Indonesia posed significant challenges, but her drive and passion helped her quickly make a name for herself in the Bali fashion scene. The move not only fostered professional growth but also exposed her to diverse cultures, styles, fabrics, and perspectives, all of which have enriched her creative vision—reflected vividly in her latest collections.
Today, Liliana Böcker is a recognized fashion designer known for her creativity, talent, and unwavering dedication to her craft. Her journey through the fashion world stands as a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and deep passion for design.
